Our team at Unique Skin Studio offers a great selection of chemical peel treatments for all varieties of skin types. Our chemical peel treatments are all performed by a fully trained and licensed master esthetician at our skin care clinic located in Draper, Utah. We are passionate about getting results and educating clients regarding their skin concerns.

We understand everyone doesn’t benefit from a “one size fits all” approach, so we customize our chemical peel treatments for your unique skin type.

A chemical peel is an acid solution that is applied to the skin. It dissolves the outermost layer of skin cells, which then peels off over the following days to reveal the fresher, younger layer below. Peels effectively treat many skin concerns such as aging, sun damage, acne, mild scarring, improving skin brightness, and evening skin tone. If you are new to peels, I require a consultation and prep period with recommended products for this clinical procedure.

Lactic Lightening Peel

Great for gentle hydration & exfoliation of the skin. Allows dead skin cells to slough off and make room for new skin regrowth. Smooths & softens skin and minimizes the appearance of wrinkles. Provides gradual and continual skin brightening to relieve skin discoloration.

It’s ideal for normal, dry, sun-damaged, and hyper-pigmented skin.

Best performed in a series of 4 to 6 peels spaced one week apart.

Glycolic Peel

An excellent cell renewal peel that allows dead skin cells to dissolve and reveal healthy, smoother, brighter-looking skin. It exfoliates, softens, reduces keratinization, treats mild to moderate acne, and minimizes pore size.

It’s ideal for normal, oily, acneic, or dry skin.

Best performed in a series of 4 to 6 peels spaced one week apart.

Salicylic Peel

A powerhouse product that exfoliates and reduces oil with a creamy consistency and 20% Salicylic Acid Cranberry Mixture. Re-surfaces & refines the skin and pores while removing oil & debris.

It includes excellent antioxidants and inhibits inflammation, making it ideal for normal to oily, acne, inflamed, and pustular acneic skin.

FitzPatrick’s Skin Types 4 to 6 need to be using the glycolic retinol pads for 1 to 2 weeks prior to treatment to avoid post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Depigmentation Peel

TCA is great for re-texturizing the skin with a peel that is regulated the number of layers applied. Azelaic acid is great for darker-skinned patients who have melasma or whose acne spots leave persistent brown spots. It’s very effective and delivers lighteners down to the melanocyte without traumatizing the skin. It evens your skin tone, softens your skin, reduces acne & exfoliates. It can also improve wrinkles, roughness, sun damage, and hyper-pigmented skin.

The combination of these acids is a beautiful peeling treatment for evening skin tone, reducing acne and re-texturing the skin.

Plus, it contains natural antibacterial, which makes it an excellent acne treatment.

Best performed in a series of 8 Treatments 8 weeks.
